PropertyGuru holds its position as the leading property portal group in Asia, reporting a growth of over 100 percent in terms of revenue and site users for this year as compared to the same period in 2011.

This revenue and user growth had also increased the group's market leadership position in key regional markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

Revenue increased 2.4 times over the same period in 2011, mainly attributed to three factors - a 50 percent increase in paying agent subscribers to over 19,100, more big contracts from non-property advertisers and property developers across the region, as well as the success of the PropertyGuru's regional events business, which was launched in April 2011.

Over the past 12 months, PropertyGuru witnessed a 128 percent increase in internet users, of which more than 26 percent was reported in the first quarter alone. For April 2012, online visitors hit 8.2 million, up from the 3.6 million visitors it recorded over the same period last year.

According to Google AdPlanner, PropertyGuru.com.sg and CommercialGuru.com.sg accounted for 85 percent of all page views from property seekers using property websites in Singapore.

PropertyGuru also witnessed substantial traffic growth in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, in line with the company's aim of expanding its property portal share to sustain regional dominance.
